Getting over the creative talent vs expectations...
via holykaw.alltop.com When you decided to learn to do something new, its often because you’ve learned to appreciate this new thing, and because you have good taste in judging it. Take film making for example. You know a good film when you see it, but when you start learning to make film, you also recognize your stuff is not up to par. Work through it. The only powerpoint presentation you need to watch...
Great, simple presentation that lays out all the options. Unforutnately it’s asking a lot of the american people. 1) it asks them to realize that we are going bankrupt 2) it asks them to realize that all options will pay more, and that the decision is really to pick the best of those options… From RWW Healthcare Napkins All View more documents from Dan Roam. via nytimes.com I’ve seen countless stats on how much we watch TV, and i’m always surprised by it. Where do you get the time? Do people literally watch TV from the second they get home to the second they go to sleep? Evan Bartlett has invited you to join Kiva!
Hello! Sorry to hit everyone up with a bulk email like this, but its for a good cause! I wanted to let you know about Kiva (www.kiva.org), a non-profit that allows you to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur across the globe. You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq...
How are you tracking twitter stats?
I’m doing community management for a nonprofit, called Kiva.org (check it out if you dont know it already!), and I’d like to keep detailed stats about how our twitter account is progressing. To start, I just want to know on a day-to-day basis what my follower count is, how many people my account is following, and how many updates i’ve made (see screenshot, these 3 pieces of data...

Ridiculous messenger bag!
via goincase.com I saw a guy wearing this bag a few days ago, and I had to ask him where he got it. Check out the pics, cause it looks really well made and practical. Its made by incase, but the one he had (I think he worked for incase) didn’t have all the useless ugly patches on it. The pads over the shoulder looked super comfy, and I loved the one-handed adjustment strap, because...
Velib - wish SF and NYC had a bike system like...
Just a few weeks ago I was in Paris cruising around on the Velib, and I can say its a much better experience than cabs or metros! Is there any way that the streets of NYC of SF can be safe enough for all these bikes? How do you encourage enough riders so that the density is there to sustain the system?!
